ESE Preparation: Everything You Need to Know 

Indian Engineering Services (IES) Exam 2023 -  The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is responsible for conducting the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) also known as Indian Engineering Services Exam 2023.

ESE Online Application Form 2023 -  Candidates who satisfy all the eligibility conditions set by the UPSC should visit its official website to apply.

IES Application Fee -  Candidates are required to pay Rs 200 as an application fee to successfully submit the application form.

Nationality -  A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him/her by the Government of India.

ESE Exam Pattern - Candidates are advised to check the complete details about IES Exam Pattern before kick-starting the application form and preparation.

Physical Criteria -  Candidates finally recommended by the Commission on the basis of the Engineering Services Examination, 2023 shall be required to undergo a medical examination.

Education qualification -  Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India) or Passed Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India.

Age limit -  A candidate for this examination must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the 1st January, 2023. i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1993 and not later than 1st January 2002.
