JEE:  JEE is for students aiming to pursue undergraduate engineering, architecture, and technology programs. 

NEET:  NEET is primarily for students aspiring to pursue undergraduate medical and dental courses, such as MBBS and BDS. 

Purpose: 

JEE:  JEE (both Main and Advanced) is known for its difficulty in mathematics and physics. 

NEET:  It is considered challenging due to the extensive syllabus and the need to have a strong grasp of biology concepts. 

Difficulty: 

JEE:  The JEE syllabus is more extensive in terms of mathematics and physics compared to NEET. 

NEET:  NEET primarily covers topics related to biology (Botany and Zoology), chemistry, and physics. 

Syllabus: 

JEE:  JEE also witnesses intense competition, especially for admission to the top engineering colleges like the IITs. 

NEET:  NEET is highly competitive, as a large number of students aspire to become doctors or dentists. 

Competition: 

JEE:  JEE Advanced, being more challenging, has higher cutoffs for admission to IITs. 

NEET:  NEET has a different scoring system and cutoffs compared to JEE. 

Scoring and Cutoffs: 

JEE:  If you want to pursue engineering or architecture, JEE is the right choice. 

NEET:  If you aspire to become a doctor or dentist, NEET is the appropriate exam.
