CBSE Class 12th 2023 For Term 1 & Term 2 Eligibility Criteria
Regular students who passed Class 11 from CBSE or any other education board recognized by the State/UT Government and are currently enrolled in Class 12 are eligible to sit for the CBSE 12th examination.
Private candidates are eligible to sit for the CBSE 12th examinations in 2023 For Term 1 & Term 2 if they meet the following requirements:
1. A candidate who fails CBSE class 12 would be entitled to reappear as a private candidate in a subsequent examination. Candidates must adhere to the syllabus and textbooks of the year in which they are reappearing.
2. Candidates from the following categories will be able to sit for the CBSE 12th board examinations in 2023 For Term 1 & Term 2 as private candidates at the board’s Delhi Senior School Certificate Examination:
- Teachers working in CBSE-affiliated institutions who have completed the Class 10 exams at least two years prior to taking the Class 12 examination. The teacher applicant must submit an application form as well as a certificate from the head of the school where they will be working. The certificate must be countersigned by the State/Union Territory Director of Education.
- Women applicants who live in the NCT of Delhi and have completed class 10 at least two years prior to taking the CBSE Class 12 examination.
- Students with physical disabilities who have completed class 10 at least two years before taking the CBSE 12th examinations in 2023 For Term 1 & Term 2. They will have to show that they have a disability that prevents them from attending regular school for academic purposes.
3. Women and handicapped private candidates must meet the following additional criteria:
- They studied privately under adequate supervision and followed the approved course of study.
- They are unable to enroll in CBSE class 12 or have other compelling reasons to sit for the CBSE 12th exams as a private candidate in 2023 For Term 1 & Term 2.

You have to register yourself on the official website of CBSE.nic. to appear for CBSE Class 12 Board exam. After publishing the application form, you must visit the official website in order to register.

- 1st Step – You have to visit the official website of http://cbse.nic.in/.
- 2nd Step – Now, you need to click on the “CBSE Website”.
- 3rd Step – From the homepage, you should click on the link “LOC”.
- 4th Step – Now, you can see that a button displayed on the screen as “CONTINUE FOR SUBMISSION” below the text as “A PORTAL FOR ONLINE SUBMISSION OF LIST OF CANDIDATES(REGISTRATION/LOC) FOR X/XII-EXAMINATION 2023 For Term 1 & Term 2.”
- 5th Step – Now you should click on the exam which you want to register for.
- 6th Step – You must enter all the necessary details in the Central Board of Secondary Education Class 12 Application Form.
