Research the university and the program Before the interview, research the university and the program you are applying to thoroughly. Review the website, the faculty members, and the courses offered.  

Practice your answers Prepare answers to common interview questions such as “Why do you want to attend this university?” or “What are your academic interests and achievements?” Practice these answers with a friend or family member to gain confidence and clarity.
