Top 10 Highest Mountain Peaks In The World 

Mount Everest, Nepal -  Mount Everest is the highest mountain range in the world, located on the border of Nepal and Tibet. Located in the Mahalangur Himal sub-range of the Himalayas, this mountain range rises 8,848 meters (29,029 ft) above sea level. 

Mount K2, India -  Though the highest mountain peak in the world is Everest; Mount K2 is considered no less. It is the second-highest mountain range and one of the most challenging mountain peaks to climb. 

Kanchenjunga, Nepal/India -  Mount Kanchenjunga holds the position of the third highest mountain in the world, having an altitude of 8586 meters. 

Lhotse, Nepal -  Mount Lhotse is another stunning mountain peak in Nepal that ranges from 8511 meters. Given its dangerous and rocky route, it is considered one of the most deadly mountain peaks in the world. 

Mount Makalu, Nepal -  Mount Makalu is another stunning mountain range in Nepal, holding an altitude of 8463 meters. This mountain range lies on the famous Mahalangur range and remains situated around 19km southeast of Mount Everest.

Nanga Parbat, India -  Situated on the southern side of the Indus River in Gilgit Baltistan, The elevation of this mountain peak is 8125 meters and is known as the killer mountain as numerous climbers died while climbing the mountain range. 

Annapurna -  This mountain is among the top 10 highest mountains in the world. It is found at 8,091 meters (26,545 ft) above sea level, and the range's incline is considered quite popular for its difficulty and danger.
