Why Most Candidates Fail to Qualify The IBPS Bank Exam

Unaware of changes in exam pattern and syllabus –  Every year there is a change in the pattern and syllabus. Some candidates do not follow these changes; So they do not solve each and every question asked in the question paper.

Not knowing the previous year's exam papers and cut-off –  Dependence on coaching institutes and ignorance about the previous year's exam papers and the sectional cut-off is one of the main reasons for the candidates to fail.

Unaware of the stiff competition -  Candidates appearing for bank exams take it very casually, which is one of the primary reasons for candidates not qualifying.

Not familiar with online mode –  Some of the candidates are not accustomed to the online mode of examination. Sometimes we face technical problems. Some candidates do not know how to switch or scan from one section to another.

Wrong Guessing -  There is a negative marking for each wrong attempt. So candidates forget about this marking system and they answer the questions by guessing. That's why they are not able to succeed in the exam.

Exam anxiety -  In these exams there is limited time to solve all the questions. So due to exam stress, candidates fail to solve the questions in the given time. The time factor plays an important role.

Lack of practice -  Candidates often study for one go and do not practice at all. Subjects like Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude require a lot of practice.

Lack of self-evaluation while giving mock tests –  Speed and accuracy go hand in hand. If you have speed, you must have the accuracy, so while preparing through mock tests, candidates do not self-assess on the basis of these two factors.
