How to prepare decision-making, quants, and verbal for XAT?

Identify the strong and weak areas:  Analyze your strong areas and weak areas and make two separate lists of the units involved. Work on your areas of improvement which would help you gain more marks

Revise your concepts: -  Try to brush up on your mathematical concepts and work on solving numerical as much as you can. QA (Quantitative Ability) is one of the toughest sections to clear and carries a good overall weightage in the overall examination.

Take daily mocksAs XAT incorporates a native marking scheme of 0.25%, it is essential that you work on your accuracy to prevent yourself from the same. Mock analysis helps you pinpoint your mistakes way before the actual examination

Read, read and read:  The best way of a lifetime is to read.  XAT comes with a plethora of challenges and tests the language proficiency of a candidate. The questions in the verbal ability section are bound to take toll of the candidate’s time conserving strategy.

Practice at least 4 RCs a day:  Begin your preparation with short RC’s so that it does not get monotonous for you to keep on reading. Try to increase your speed of reading by reading a single line in one go.

Subscribe to online vocabulary enhancers:   Build your vocabulary by subscribing to online vocabulary enhancers and “word of the day” alerts. Learn a word’s usage, synonyms, and antonyms. Learn prefixes and suffixes' meaning methods

Focus on solving conventional questions first: -  Avoid solving RC questions at the start of the verbal section. Start with other questions related to VA so that you can manage your time appropriately and have more time in hand for the RC questions.
