Mistakes to avoid while filling out the application form for the UPSC exam

Consider the eligibility criteria: Eligibility criteria is the first and foremost factor that every candidate should consider. Factors like nationality, educational qualification, medical and physical conditions, number of attempts, the age limit prescribed by the UPSC commission, etc.

Not getting confused between primary and regional languages: Students should not make mistakes in their regional language and the language they write their General essay in.

Preventing complications regarding hobbies and interests: Most aspirants start scratching their heads, looking at the hobbies section while filling out a detailed application form. Candidates should not create complications while penning down their hobbies and interests.

Knowing about the application fee submission: Candidates who get exempted from paying the application fee need not pay any fees. On the contrary, those who do not have any fee exemption can undoubtedly pay the fee to complete their registration process.

Exam Centre: The candidates are advised to make a conscious and careful choice of exam centers for both Prelims and Mains examination.

Payment methods: Those who opt for the ‘Pay by Cash’ mode should print the system-generated Pay-in-slip during part II registration and deposit the fee at the counter of the SBI Branch on the next working day only.
