How to Prepare  UP SI Exam 

Make a study schedule and make sure it covers all the subjects. Do not leave any topic. Preferable start with time-consuming topics like Mental Ability, and Mental Aptitude portions of the exam. 

Practice the previous year’s papers and attempt as many mock tests as possible before the exam. Regular revision is very important to achieve a good result. Make sure to revise as many times as possible. 

Learn to make calculated guesses instead of random guesswork as there are no negative markings for the exam. Do make sure to answer all the questions. Eat healthily and exercise regularly. Keep yourself calm and have a good night’s sleep before the examination day.

Trying a new trick will waste your time. If a topic is complicated, don't waste time understanding it and set aside enough time for each issue.

Apart from this, there are many such coaching centers in the market that prepare for the Sub Inspector, from where you can get good guidance. You have to solve the previous 2-3 year papers by picking them up. 

Try to bring fresh perspectives in Reasoning Section - You should read regularly about Puzzles, Sudoku, Checkers, Chess or even writing or new topics to answer questions in Reasoning Section of the exam. This will help you use your logical thinking and memorization ability better. 

Solve questions like this - Make sure you understand it completely before answering any question during the exam. The answers to most questions are contained within the questions. Blood relation, data adequacy, jurisprudence, decoding-coding, and other questions of moderate level of difficulty should be attempted first. Solve complex puzzles, input-output, seating arrangement, and other questions at the end as they are the most difficult. 

Complete revision and take help of notes - Students should revise all the subjects in time near to the exam. Along with this, you can also do your strong preparation with the help of notes made by yourself or designed by an expert. Don't read new topics at all.
