What is the DAF -  It is a very important document that is filled before the UPSC Mains exam which defines everything from the career of the candidate to the posting. 

DAF is your identity in the interview board -  the UPSC interview board recognizes you only through your DAF, so the more accurate way you fill your DAF, the more the interview will be in your favor.
