Everything You Need To Know About ISRO 

The Indian Space Research Organization is the space agency of the Government of India headquartered in the city of Bengaluru. 

ISRO has a vision to “harness space technology for national development while pursuing space science research and planetary exploration”. 

ISRO entrance exam is conducted for candidates from Civil, Electrical, Architecture, Mechanical, Electronics, computer science, and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning streams.  

The degrees eligible for applying to ISRO are B.E., B.Tech, B.Sc., Diploma + B.E/B.Tech, B.Sc. + B.E/B.Tech, AMIE, B.E/B.Tech degree part-time. 

Education Qualification

The ISRO Requirement with respect to age is that the maximum age limit for all the candidates is 35 years and for SC/ST it is 40 years. 

Age Requirement

All the candidates applying for the post released by ISRO are required to first register in National Career Services (NCS) portal subsequent to which they can apply.

Application form

The selection procedure for ISRO is conducted in three phases.  The written exam is an objective type exam  containing 80 questions and is set in English for 90 minutes. Each question carrying 3 marks. 

ISRO Entrance exam Pattern and Syllabus

The written test is only a screening process and the marks of the same are not considered while preparing the final list of selection. Candidates who qualify the written exam are called for the interview.

Interview Eligibility  

The environment at ISRO is academics-friendly. 1. One gets to know space science and technology closely.Computer Science people generally work in launch vehicle software development. It is an 8-hour job for five days a week.
