Don’t do these 10 things when preparing for JEE Advanced

Not Focusing on Entire Syllabus. In-depth knowledge of the entire syllabus is the key to success in any exam.

Over-learning everything. Many students tend to make this mistake of over-learning everything which lands them nowhere except the state of bewilderment.

Only mugging and not understanding concepts.

Feeling depressed due to low scores in tests. Take this as way to learn from your mistakes.

Avoid long study hours. If it results in fatigue, a small break after 45–60 minutes of study can improve your productivity.

Taking excessive mock-tests / Not taking mock-tests at all

Ignoring the marking scheme. The preparation in fact must always be according to the marking scheme and the fact if there is negative marking in the exam.

Overconfidence is the killer of success. Being confident is always the key, but one should avoid being the prey to overconfidence.

Not giving Enough Importance to Time-tables. Following it sometimes and avoiding it sometimes can lead to an inconsistent daily schedule.

Not Believing in Yourself. Whatever the situation is, believing in oneself is what can take any person to heights.
