In a major blow to engineering aspirants, the JEE Main 2022 Exam may be held only with two attempts this year. While students wait for the NTA – National Testing Agency to release the official notification for the national-level entrance exam, speculative reports have hinted that the JEE Main 2022 may be held only in two attempts for the candidates.
Along with issuing the statement about the number of attempts for JEE Main 2022, the official also hinted at the possible date for the starting of the registration process. As per the report, JEE Main 2022 registration process is likely to get underway by end of February 2022.
National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the syllabus of JEE Mains 2022 along with the official brochure on the official website. Students should be aware of the JEE Main 2022 syllabus along with the exam pattern. Knowledge of JEE Main syllabus 2022 will assist the students to prepare a proper study plan and study the important topics for the entrance exam.
Mode of the exam – Computer-based with an exception of the Drawing test which will be held offline. Type of questions – MCQ and Numerical type. Marking scheme – For every correct response, 4 marks are awarded and there is a negative marking of 1 marks for incorrect response marked. However, there is no negative marking on Non-MCQ type questions. Medium of the – For every correct response, 4 marks are awarded and there is a negative marking of 1 mark for incorrect response marked. – There is no age limit for appearing the JEE Main 2022. – Candidates must have passed 12th or any other equivalent exam in 2020, 2021, or appearing in 2022. – The applicants must have passed B.E/B.Tech in Physics, Mathematics, or Any one of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject). – Students who are appearing for B.Arch must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. – For B.Plan, Mathematics is a compulsory subject. – For B.Arch, the minimum qualifying marks is 50% in 10+2 or equivalent.
