Stages of CTET Selection Process

CTET application form - Firstly, candidates need to fill the CTET application form on the official website of the exam. Candidates can apply for CTET Paper 1 or Paper 2 or both papers.

CTET Admit Card

Candidates can download the CTET admit card from the official website of the exam (ctet.nic.in) by using their application number and password/date of birth. 

CTET Exam

Paper -1

Applicants who wish to teach students in classes from I to V must clear the Paper-I 

Paper -2

Aspirants who wish to teach from Classes VI to VIII must clear the Paper-II. 

Paper - 1

The questions will be focused on the topics recommended in the NCERT Syllabus for Grade 1 to 5.

Paper 1 comprises 5 sections 1.Child Development and Pedagogy 2. Language I 3. Language II 4. Mathematics  5. Environmental Studies.

Paper - 2

Questions would be based on the subjects listed in the syllabus for Grades 6 to 8, but the level of complexity may be up to the senior secondary stage.

Paper 2 comprises 5 sections 1.Child Development and Pedagogy 2. Language I 3. Language II 4. Mathematics and Science 5. Social Studies/Social Science

CTET Exam  Result

Candidates who have appeared for the CTET 2021-22 exam can check their CTET result by filling their roll number on the official website of CTET. The scorecard of CTET includes the total marks secured by the candidates in the entrance exam.
