Nootan Physics is the English version of authors’ ‘Nootan Madhyamic Bhautik Vigyan’, now running its fifty second edition. It has been brought out to meet the long-standing demand of the English-medium Physics students appearing at U.P. Board Intermediate examination and also preparing for the various competitive examinations. The authors have tried to get the subject matter translated systematically in a simple, easily understandable language so that even a fresher can follow the subject with little effort.

Each chapter carries quite a good number of solved as well as unsolved problems of various types which have been drawn from the question papers of the U.P. Board Intermediate Examination, joint entrance examination of JEE main, JEE Ad., and NEET. Hints, footnotes and answers have been given wherever necessary. These questions have been divided into different categories, such as Objective Type, Very Short-Answer Type, Short-Answer Type, Long-Answer Type, Numericals and For Different Competitive Examinations, Objective Type. The order of questions in each category is same as the order of topics in text matter. Except Long-Answer Type Questions all other questions have been supported with answer or hints as necessary.
