Synthesis In Medicinal Chemistry by Dr. Ishan I. Panchal, Dr. Dhrubo Jyoti Sen
Book Summary:
Synthesis in Medicinal Chemistry is intended for use in beginning of chemistry courses. It was written for students who want to prepare themselves for synthesis of various chemical intermediates of organic and medicinal prospects. No matter what your students’ goals are, this book will help them to learn the basics of chemistry.
I have been teaching introductory chemistry courses for over 8 years, and Dr. Sen 24 years. I considered writing my own text. I thought it should be possible to organize the fundamentals of chemistry so that each would flow smoothly into the next, but it wasn’t until I made some changes in my course that I began to take the prospect of writing a new textbook of practical organic chemistry seriously.
