At the outset, it is informed to the readers of this book entitled as “Research Methodology – An Engineers Approach” for M.E. and Ph.D. students (all branches) of Pune University and Bharti Vidyapeeth, Deemed University". The contents of this book is compilation of lecturer notes by authors on research methodology.

It is observed that most of the books on Research Methodology" are written by Management teachers with emphasis on research related to Business Management. This book becomes special because the book is written by practicing engineers for engineers and scientists interested in pursuing research in engineering for betterment of our society.
