Regression Analysis

Regression methods have become an integral part of any data analysis involving data on variable of interest (response variable) and a set of predictor variables or regressors. Regression analysis technique is used in almost every field including engineering, biomedical research, epidemiological research, ecology, linguistics, social sciences, economics, business and finance. Hence a course on "Regression Analysis" is introduced in third year B.Sc. syllabus of Savitribai Phule Pune University. The course covers basic regression methods.
