Finance is a branch of economics, a science that studies the management of funds (money and other assets). More specifically, through financial analysis, decisions and corrective actions can be taken regarding the collection and use of funds as to optimise their use toward the objectives of an organisation (states, companies and businesses) or individual.
Finance, involves the management, creation and study of money, banking, credit, investments, shares, capital markets, assets and liabilities, budgeting, forecasting, microfinance and mutual funds. Students become familiar with financial systems, which include the public, private and government spaces. They also study financial instruments related to countless assets and liabilities.
The objective of writing this book is to present the subject of ‘Principles of Finance’ strictly in accordance with new revised syllabus, for B.B.A. Semester-II. Every attempt has been made to present the matter in a simple and concise manner.
