Organisational Behaviour

It is important to remember that business is about people. From the smallest enterprise to the largest corporation, organisations are created and designed by people to fulfil human objectives. Organisational Behaviour (OB) seeks to understand how we can best do this. The subject OB aims to provide a better understanding of human behaviour in organisations. It introduces the concepts and theories of behaviour in organisations that have been formulated. In general, it examines diversity, ethics, and authority, power and conflict, and the issues and stresses that arise from them. In particular, it examines the individual attitudes, personalities, perceptions and motivations, and the group dynamics of teamwork, communication and leadership, all within the context of restructuring, change and development.
