Book Summary:

This book has been written, keeping in mind the ‘I’ Scheme curriculum designed by the Board of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra, for the students appearing for Second Year, Semester IV Diploma in Computer Engineering Program Group. The language of the book has been kept simple, straight forward and easy to understand. The introductory chapter makes the students aware of the architecture of the 8086 microprocessor.

In the rest of the chapters, concepts specific to 8086 have been explained in detail with several examples. The entire effort has been towards making the students aware and capable of integrating the theory with practice so that the students should be able to develop their own applications using the 8086 assembly language. The entire instruction set of 8086 has been explained in detail along with examples for every instruction to achieve this objective.
