I feel immense pleasure to present the book ‘Maths Olympiad for IMO Aspirants’. Through this book I have tried to guide and prepare students for Mathematics Olympiad and various other competitive exams such as NTSE(National Talent Search Examination), NSTSE, Science Olympiads, and various National and State level Maths and science scholarship tests as well. This book offers application – oriented material to bring conceptual clarity and to help the students build a strong foundation in the subject. All the concepts are explained through solved examples. Important formulas and useful tips are given in the beginning of each chapter. Fully solved Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with detailed explanation enhance the problem solving skills of students. It is advisable to attempt all exercises given in every chapter of the book. The students should try to answer the question by self at first instance. If a student fails to find the answer, he/she should go through the solutions given at the end of each chapter. However, the students should make second attempt to find the solution on their own.
