The IBPS SO Exam 2021 is scheduled to be held in the month of December 2021. IBPS conducts recruitment drive to eligible candidates for posts like Agriculture Field Officer, Marketing Officer (Scale I), HR/Personnel Officer, IT Officer Scale I, Law Officer, and Rajbhasha Adhikari Scale I.
The IBPS SO 2021 will be conducted in three levels: Prelims, Mains, and Interview. Candidates who qualify both the rounds will be further considered for the final interview process. The exam pattern for the above posts is the same except for Rajsabha Adhikari. The three stages of IBPS SO includes three stages as explained below.
Stage 1: IBPS SO Prelims- For the Rajsabha Adhikari there are three sections: Reasoning, English, and General Awareness with Special Reference to Banking Industry which involves 150 questions for 125 marks that have to be completed in 160 minutes. For the other posts, there are three sections: Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude which involves 150 questions for 125 marks that have to be completed in 160 minutes.
Stage 2: IBPS SO Mains- For Rajsabha Adhikari there are two tests conducted: Professional Knowledge Objective and descriptive. The objective part includes 45 questions and descriptive includes 2 questions. The total marks for both the tests are 60 which has to be completed in 1 hour. For the other posts, the professional knowledge test involves 60 questions for 60 marks which must be completed in 45 minutes.
Stage 3: IBPS SO Interview- Candidates who qualify the Mains Exam will be finally called for the Interview Process by IBPS. It is really important for candidates to fare well in the Interview Process as the final selection of a candidate is based on how he/she fares in this final round of the IBPS SO Recruitment Process.
