The purpose of the book is to make it easier for the students to understand E-Commerce and HTML concepts. This book is mainly for the students of second semester of BBA of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) as the presentation of the book is based on their syllabus. The book contains a comprehensive and authentic description of the course contents. However, the book can be well adopted and used by students of all the Indian Universities studying e-commerce. All the topics of contemporary relevance in the subject have been covered in the book.The book has been written in a simple language and lucid style so that students can easily grasp and have better understanding of the subject. Pictures, diagrams and programming code supplement the main text. A summary section towards the end of each chapter reviews the topics, concepts and terms presented. In addition to theoretical concepts, sincere efforts have been made to bridge the gap between theory and practical concepts. The book is intended to serve the requirements of the students at undergraduate level. A large number of examples are provided to make the students easily understand the concepts. There are review questions at the end of each chapter so that they can practice what have they learned. The first two chapters describe the various concepts of e-commerce and types of models. Also they are explaining how e-commerce has taken a boom in India. The third and fourth chapter includes HTML (theory along with programming code) concepts. Anyone with little knowledge of HTML can read these two chapters and understand HTML easily. The fifth and sixth chapters explain electronic payment systems and various concepts of e-money. The seventh and eighth chapters include security issues in e-commerce and various economic, social and technological applications of e-commerce.
