Communication Principles

We have great pleasure to present this text book for S. Y. B. Sc. Computer Science in subject Electronics. The course for Semester - II, Paper - II Communication Principles (ELC 222) as per syllabus of Savitribai Phule Pune University is presented in this book. We have taken sincere efforts to give complete knowledge of the subject.

For the Computer Science student idea of basic communication system, electronic communication system is necessary. In the era of globalization and technology revolution students of computer science should familiar with advanced technology concepts used in communication system. This course covers these needs though the syllabus prescribed by Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.

In unit one, basics of electronic communication are discussed. The various terminologies are explained with example. The technical terms and procedures like modulation, demodulation along with analog and digital signals are discussed in unit two. Various techniques used for signal transmission and reception through electromagnetic spectrum is explained in unit three. In unit four wireless communication system with latest technology and terms are discussed. Sufficient questions and points to remember are included to understand the concepts and preparation for examination.
