I feel great pleasure in presenting this book to familiarise the students preparing for Engineering Services Examinations with multiple choice type questions in Civil Engineering. U.P.S.C. have recently introduced preliminary examinations to screen the candidates through objective type questions. Though, a large number of text and guide books on Civil Engineering are available for the preparation of essay type questions, it has been attempted to present over thousand multiple choice questions in seven subjects of Civil Engineering for the guidance of students to meet the requirements of different examining bodies.
