The book starts with first chapter which covers sets, number sets, elementary inequalities and functions. Second chapter covers languages and proof. The third chapter covers mathematical induction (first and second) principles with applications. The chapter four deals with combinatorial reasoning with binomial coefficients, permutations and functional diagraphs. The last chapter covers divisibility in integers and polynomials, quadratic formula and Dart Board Problem. We have taken utmost care to present the matter systematically. The book contains several selected solved examples and an ample number of graded problems in the exercises.
